Want to book a different date?

I can do this for a minimum booking of 4 people and I can generally be super flexible about dates, other than Sundays which I save for my family!

Large Groups and Pottery Parties

I can accommodate a group of 8 people at £35 per head for a 2 ( ish… Its easy to run over time) hour pottery session.

This includes demonstration and lesson in how to work the wheel, how to centre and build a pot on the wheel by throwing, a hot cuppa ( and of course some kind of biscuit or cake), and a go at making one pot each. I have 4 wheels, so 4 people watch then the next 4 go. Your pots will be fired twice and glazed in a neutral glaze (normally a satin cream). Pots can be collected or posted on after for extra once ready. This normally takes about 1 month…… I hear you, why so long? They need to dry for a week, then have a bisque fire and then a glaze fire and I only fire my kiln when it is totally full ( we live off grid, so energy consumption is strictly monitored by Mr Whimsy in the Wild!) To book for this then please email me directly.

This is suitable for children only if there is a ratio of 4 children with 4 adults…. Kids need more help and there is potentially dangerous equipment like kilns sharp tools etc, so it would not be suitable for 8 kids on their own, and there is not room for extra bodies than 8 in the room… does that make sense???? Just so you know I am a mother of three and really want kids to learn… it’s just practicalities.
